Clinical Pearl: Q Tip Test

Hi there!

 

In this week’s video, we share some clinical pearls with your Q tip test

 

👉🏾 Use a cotton swab or your index finger 

👉🏾 Palpate vulva and vestibule in randomized fashion

👉🏾 Perform at least 2-3 times

👉🏾 Use your pelvic clock to note areas of tenderness and/or sensitivity

👉🏾 Do you know what part of the vestibule will be hypersensitive if your patient has hypertonicity of their pelvic floor muscles?
