GLOWING TESTIMONIALS:

"You both are doing a great service in educating others. Many women go years with pelvic pain being placed at the end of their Problem list because of other comorbidities that some providers determine are more important."

Dr. Joylove F.

"I just downloaded your binder - such great information! Looking forward to learning more - you and Melissa are on to something! I spend a considerable amount of time helping patients who have difficulty with penetration and exams feel empowered not powerless by their bodies. I love this helpful resource for patient education!"

Michelle G., CNM

Your Instructors

Melissa Hines, DPT, is a pelvic floor physical therapist who founded the only interdisciplinary private pelvic health clinic in Boston. Melissa is passionate about women's health and teaching other providers how to bridge the disconnect between pelvic health, primary care, and OBGYN.

Kathy Kates, FNP, is also a champion of women's health and ran a women's health program for a large medical institution for over a decade. For the first four years, Kathy never thought much about the pelvic floor and its impact on women's health overall. After undergoing breast cancer treatment, that changed when she had significant dyspareunia and learned — as a pelvic floor therapy patient — how important pelvic health is and how little she learned about it in her NP training.

They created the Institute for Pelvic Health™ to fill the gap in provider education around pelvic health.
